The bees were taking advantage of the spring blooms near Willow Beach in AZ.

Desert Butterfly
In Spring, even the desert has blooms and this butterfly has found them. He was only still for a second between trips to the blooms. It looks like a variant on a sagebrush checkerspot butterfly. If you can identify, then let me know!
Lizard tracks in the sand
This was spotted in the Mesquite Dunes. The tracks disappear under scrub brush (out of view). It looks like the straddled waddle of a lizard with a center mark made by the body or tail. What do you think?
Green Anole on Red Hummingbird Feeder
I had no idea that anole's like sweet treats until I caught this guy on my new hummingbird feeder. Luckily, anoles cannot change their skin color to red or I would not have seen the little guy.
